Would you like to show off your business to ~300 GIS professionals? We invite you to be an exhibitor at the conference!  You'll have booth space, a chance to present about your business in the exhibitor technology presentation track, access to all the sessions at the conference, and opportunities to make your logo visible at the conference and all year long in the Summit Scoop newsletter.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS


We’re looking for volunteers for the 2026 WA GIS Conference! The Washington GIS Conference is a labor of love and hard work. More hands make it more fun for everyone.  

Do you want to work behind the scenes while you learn the lay of the land? We've got those kinds of jobs. Want to stand out and be seen?  We've got those kinds of jobs too! Whether you're an introvert or an extrovert, we would love your help and your dedication to the profession. Step up your participation and join us May 19-21 in Bellevue for the 2026 WA GIS conference!

The Conference needs a variety of volunteer types, including:

  • Moderating Speaker Sessions

  • Registration Desk

  • General Support (support throughout the conference)

  • Resumé Support and Mentoring Opportunities (limited to managers and supervisors with hiring experience)

Volunteer Benefits

Volunteers who work one (1) to three and half (3.5) hours are expected to pay the full registration rate but qualify for:

  • GISP ‘Professional Contribution Points’ via the GIS Certification Institute. 
  • Experience great networking and professional development. 
  • Immense gratitude of the conference committee. 
Volunteers working four (4) or more hours throughout the conference qualify for the above benefits PLUS:
  • Volunteer discount rate of $225 vs. the standard registration rate of $425.
  • a one-year WAGISA membership ($25 value). 
  • may attend all conference sessions when not volunteering.
  • access to conference-provided food

Other benefits include networking opportunities, comradeship, and professional development.
